About Us

Born and raised in County Tyrone, Ireland, I came to the United States in 1992 at the age of 18. I began my apprenticeship immediately with another contractor from Ireland who had been in the U.S. for some time. Being a well-established contractor himself, he taught me everything I needed to know regarding the construction industry in this country.

In 1996, I decided to establish my own company. It was difficult in the beginning with few customers, but with several referrals from those few customers, a year or two later, business started to flourish. Before I knew it, my small company (me, myself and I) needed more employees.

By the year 1999, I felt fairly established in the contracting business, with more and more customers and projects. The business continued along the line of general contracting, which included additions, roofing and siding. My family and I then moved from Northeast Philadelphia to Southampton in Bucks County. With this move I decided to change the focus of my business to interior carpentry. While I still continue general contracting, I find great satisfaction in the beauty of a crown molding job well done.

My reputation throughout the area is that of a reliable and knowledgeable contractor. My customer base is generally 30 minutes from my home, allowing people to feel like, instead of my customers, my neighbors.

I explore the latest advances in the industry. New products frequently arrive on the market which can make a project exceed even my expectations.

I generally utilize two or three full time employees. I find that leading a small crew decreases the opportunity for errors and is less overwhelming to the customer. In addition, I am always on hand to answer any questions from my clients.

With regard to the future, my wife and I hope that one or more of our four children will get the “contractor fever” and continue this company for many more generations.
